This week Faren’s guest is Cliff Majersik, Executive Director of the Institute of Market Transformation (IMT).  This Washington D.C. based organization has emerged  as national leader in the evolution of energy efficiency in the building sector, which accounts for approximately 50% of greenhouse gas emissions in the United States.  In the effort of advancing the industry, IMT addresses such issues as Building Codes & Standards, Code Compliance, Residential Energy Efficiency Finance and Mortgages, Commercial Energy Efficiency Finance, and more…  A current bill being presented in the New Mexico Legislature, SB442, addresses the need for building performance transparency in commercial buildings.  This is a great step in addressing energy consumption in the commercial sector…we’ll discuss this bill and a whole lot more…
